Fire Alarm Testing and Certification
A Fire Alarm Certificate is a mandatory inspection and should be carried out in accordance with BS5839. These regulations are part of the fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings; they cover design commissioning and maintenance.
Our team of experts recommend regular testing, usually every 6 months as per BS 5839, in order to verify the system’s components and sounders are working. A fire alarm certificate, issued after successful testing, proves the system has been inspected, meets regulatory requirement and has all the relevant up to date insurance requirements.
